How it works

Step 1

Download from Amazon

Seller Central → Reports → Payments → Date Range Reports. Choose the “Flat File V2” .txt.

Step 2

Drop it on the converter

Upload over SSL. We parse it in volatile memory and discard it the moment your download begins.

Step 3

Open your Excel

Three tabs: Summary, Fee Breakdown, and per-SKU net after Amazon fees. Ready to forward to your accountant.

Questions sellers ask

What is a deferred transaction on Amazon?

Since 2026, Amazon holds part of each payout as a “deferred” reserve until about 7 days after delivery (DD+7), plus an account-level reserve. Your settlement file shows which funds were released to your bank and which are still deferred — SettlementToExcel splits them out so you can see your real cash position.

Do I need QuickBooks or Xero to read my settlement?

No. SettlementToExcel is a standalone file-in, file-out converter. There's no accounting software to connect, no Amazon API, and no login — you just upload the settlement .txt and download an Excel workbook.

Is my settlement data stored anywhere?

No. Your file is processed in memory over SSL and discarded the moment your download starts. We never receive your Amazon login and never retain the file or its contents.

How do I convert an Amazon settlement report to Excel?

Download the Flat File V2 settlement .txt from Seller Central (Reports → Payments → Date Range Reports), drop it on the converter, and download a clean 3-tab Excel workbook in seconds.

Why doesn't my Amazon bank deposit match my sales?

Your payout is the net of fees, refunds, reimbursements, deferred reserves, and sales tax Amazon collects and remits. The Summary tab breaks down exactly how your gross sales became your net deposit — and shows sales tax separately, not as revenue.
